National Wear Red Day

The opportunity to fight heart disease and show your
support for the American Heart Association is coming Friday, February 2. It’s called “National Wear Red
Day.” Employees of the The Greater Hazleton Health Alliance will once
again be wearing their red just like last year and will be conducting
free blood pressure screenings in observance of this important day. Not
only will staff be dressed in red, but paper hearts and red dress pins
will be sold. The majority of the proceeds are going to the American
Heart Association with the remaining going towards future heart events
and patient education. Heart disease is the number one killer of women
and takes the life of 1 in 3 women per year Take advantage of this event
Friday, February 3rd at 11am until noon at the Hazleton General Hospital
and Hazleton Health AND the Hazleton Health and Wellness Center.
