Community Yard Sale Gets Support from Hazleton

Maximo Almanzar knows folks in the area need support and don’t know where to turn. That’s why he and his wife, Shaskya started a Community Yard Sale, to support area nonprofits and bring the community together. Maximo hopes the Community Yard Sale will give nonprofits the opportunity to raise funds and awareness for their organization. Still, anyone may donate items, sell tickets or raffles. Folks in the area who want to bring items to sell will have to pay $20 before they can set up tent, but kids who would like to sell lemonade don’t have to pay a thing! Maximo and his wife invite the entire community to Hazle Township Park, Saturday for this family friendly event.
The sale will run from 9am to 5pm. Vendors are asked to arrive at 8am. Again, there will be no charge for nonprofits or active groups. However, if people decide to sell food there will be $50 fee to cover cleaning or volunteers for this event. Businesses will pay a $100 fee and folks from the community will only $20.00.
Folks who mention News13 will receive a $10 discount.
