Ashland Fire Ruled Accidental
The two-alarm fire that destroyed double-block homes in Ashland on Tuesday has been ruled accidental. Flames broke out on the 14-hundred block of Market Street in Ashland around 3:30 Tuesday morning. Two homes suffered heavy fire and smoke damage on their third floors. That blaze was under control in 90 minutes. A total of four people were displaced from the fire in Ashland. This was just one of three fires that day in Schuylkill County.
