Established in 1984, Sam-Son Productions, Inc. is a family-owned
video production facility owned and operated by;
Sam Lesante Sr., Deborah Lesante, Jeannine Lesante, and Sam Lesante Jr.

Our first production was a local talent show called “Spotlight Talent Showcase.”
It showcased the talented people in and around Northeast Pennsylvania.
It was recorded at WOLF-TV (now FOX56) in Scranton, PA and broadcast throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania & New York.
Here’s a sample of the show:
Then in 1993, Sam Sr. produced the first-ever “hyper-local” newscast.
On Jan. 4, 1994, we began “Local News 13” which airs
on Service Electric Cablevision Ch. 13 & HD513 in the
Greater Hazleton Area in Pennsylvania.
Below is the premiere broadcast
Because our newscast aired on cable tv at the time
(not Broadcast like ABC, NBC, CBS,) we developed our own "call letters."
SSPTV (stands for Sam Son Productions TV.)
In 1990, we produced a show called “On The Road with Sammy & Elaine.”
It was a nationally syndicated show hosted by Sam Lesante and Elaine Palance
(wife of Academy Award winning actor, Jack Palance.)

Sam & Elaine traveled around the country interviewing celebrities such as;
Telly Savalas, Michael Bell (voice of the Smurfs and many others,) Martin Landau,
Noah Berry and Sean Young (Ace Ventura, Fatal Instinct.)
Jack interviewed "celebrities from the grave"
such as Alexander Hamilton, Aaron Burr, Abraham Lincoln and his wife, Mary.

Then in 1995, we produced a spin-off called, "It's Time for Sammy & Elaine"
which focused more on interviewing local people.

Below are some episodes from "On the Road with Sammy & Elaine."

Jack Palance died in 2006 but his memory lives on.
We were thankful to have worked with one of the most talented
actors in the world and be able to call him a friend.
Below is our tribute show to Jack Palance.
Today, we still produce a local news as well as many other programs.

Sam-Son Productions, Inc. can produce any types of video.
Commercials, Long Format Programs (talk, medical, political, corporate), documentaries, weddings, social media videos and more.
