18th Annual Relay for Life
The 18th Annual Relay for Life took place in Hazleton this weekend. It’s safe to say, no weather was going to rain on this parade! News 13 stopped by City View Park Friday evening, where a little bit of rain didn’t stop over one-hundred people from taking laps to find a cure for cancer. While bands and Dj’s provided the entertainment, fire works, volleyball and even a recovery race and team theme laps were happening all night into Saturday. This is a team event to fight cancer and bring awareness to and about cancer. Every year, thousands of people are effected by cancer. The relay for life brings cancer patients and survivors together to support one another and raise awareness. Despite the rainy weather Friday, the Relay for Life in Hazleton was definitely a success!
