STATE POLICE AND DRUG ENFORCEMENT AGENCY TO OFFER PRESCRIPTION DRUG DROP OFF September 29TH
Senator John Yudichak (D-Luzerne/Carbon/Monroe) reminds area residents of the Drug Enforcement Administration’s (DEA) National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day on Saturday, September 29.
“I encourage everyone to take advantage of this important nationwide effort to prevent medication abuse and provide a convenient and safe way to dispose of unwanted and unnecessary prescription drugs,” said Senator Yudichak.
The event takes place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The DEA, the Pennsylvania State Police and local law enforcement will have locations across Luzerne, Carbon and Monroe counties for the public to drop off unwanted prescription drugs. The service is free and anonymous.
