Trees for the Needy

Its hard to find someone who hasn’t been effected by the ailing
economy…for some, Not even a Christmas tree is on their budget…but
thanks to one local businessman who is selling Christmas trees, no one
in greater hazleton will be without a tree if he can help it…
Dan Basala owner of Basala enterprise on Broad Street in West Hazleton
decided to get in the Christmas tree business this year to raise money
to buy the West Hazleton Police Department an important lifesaving
tool…
Staying with the spirit of giving back, now Basala has decided to give
back to the less fortunate,and is offering free Christmas trees to those
who cant afford to buy their own…
Basala thinks everyone needs a Christmas tree and that’s why he wants to
help…
We talked with one of his employees, Bob Maso, who said just stop by or
call to make arrangements to pick up a tree if you’re in need of one…
Trees will be available through Christmas Eve 9AM to 9PM daily…
