Greater Hazleton Health Alliance Awarded

There isn’t anything better than being recognized for hard work and
dedication, right? Well, one local hospital was awarded for a job well
done…and when a hospital is awarded….the patients are too, because
they are the ones receiving the best care. Hazleton General
Hospital/Greater Hazleton Health Alliance, received two awards
Wednesday. The first award…..”the Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement
award.” The hospital received this award for the third year in a row!!
This award recognizes the hospital’s commitment and success in giving
excellent care to stroke patients. The second award recognizes Hazleton
General’s commitment and success in giving a higher standard of care for
heart attack patients. The hospital is one of only 94 that received “The
Cardiac Performance Achievement Award.”
