Drug Take Back
Hazleton PA News
Prescription Drug abuse has been increasing at an alarming rate. So much
so that The Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General has teamed up with
the U.S Drug Enforcement Administration and local law enforcement
officials from across the state in support of the fourth nationwide
prescription drug “Take-Back Day.”
It is an initiative and community service program that not only draws
awareness to the dangers of prescription drug abuse, but provides safe,
legal and environmentally friendly ways of disposing un-used, un-needed,
or expired prescription drugs. The service is free and anonymous. This
weekend, You can bring your scripts to the McAdoo Police Department
which is your local drop-off location. It’s happening Saturday, April
28th from 10 am until 2 and for a complete list of local drop off sites
