Area Students Posting Fights to Internet Sites
Hazleton PA News
Hair Pulling, Punching and Kicking. Students are encouraging other
students to fight for no good reason. The videos are being posted and
broadcasted on YouTube for all to see under the username “HASD Fights”.
Most of the audio in these videos is too graphic and vulgar to air and
show on television. Large groups of students encouraging one another to
put down their books and fight is what is shown in the videos. Boys and
Girls are involved in this “out of control” behavior most of which
happens off of school campus. Hazleton Area Highschool Principal Rocco
Petrone says, there is a “No Tolerance Policy” for any fights that
happen on school district property. He says, fights rarely happen on
school grounds for this reason. Petrone also told News 13, that any
student who encourages fights or is involved in a brawl faces suspension
and a possible arrest.
It is truly time to “clean house” in the Hazleton Area and reclaim our city from the influences and influxes that have just about destroyed it. Look up “Hazleton” in the Urban Dictionary and see what our definition is now…
I would like to know why these videos aren’t forwarded to the police.
they need to get tougher with conquences how about having cops patrol the area when kids are walking home someone is going to get hurt or who knows what what happen to kids being able to walk home safe get parents involved and what ever it takes to keep our kids safe forward viedo to the police if kids know they can get away with they will continue to do it punish them
Why aren’t these videos sent to school admin and the police. The superintendent said anyone taking part would be suspended. Support your words with actions.
Sick sick sick!!!! Is it any wonder more people are turning to cyberschool?? My son will never set foot into a HASD school if I have my way.

i just snooped on you tube under hasd fights and found one. even lists the kids names. its two white boys in a basement with boxing gloves on with a bunch of other kids watching. apparently they think they are UFC fighters. the video was about 8 mins long. couldn’t stomach it after the first 2 mins and turned it off. just wonder if the parents knew what was going on in their basement. they never should’ve taken away a parents right to spank their kids…they are out of control.

The story also says that the superintendent said that any one participating or encouraging this would be disciplined. These should also be sent to the school admin so the kids can be identified and suspended. It’s not like they’re hiding their faces.

Radell there are other ones of kids fighting right out in the street on the way home from school. The one I saw was a bunch of girls fight with each other while other kids stood around encouraging them. One girl even started beating another with a tennis racket. This is far beyond fighting with gloves in someone’s basement.
i was only able to find that one. it’s definitely time to do something in this area. drugs, gangs, illegals, etc screwing up this beautiful area.
Parents need to monitor them on the computor just like Tv where are the parents when all this is going on there is so much corruption we as parents need to speak out and try our best to clean it up here in hazelton and all over
call the cops the one that stand around and do nothing are wromg and need to be punish

all these kids should get in trouble for posting crap like this online once my son hits high school he will not go there ill let him do school online i will not send him to that horriable school unless they get there act together
