Established in 1984, Sam-Son Productions, Inc. is a family owned video production facility owned by Sam Lesante Sr., Deborah Lesante, Jeannine Lesante-Mazurkiwecz and Sam Lesante Jr.

Our first production was a local talent show called “Spotlight Talent Showcase.” It showcased the talented people in and around Northeast Pennsylvania. It was recorded at WOLF-TV (now MyNetwork) in Scranton, PA and broadcast throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania. Here’s a sample of the show http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GXJ-gFYqODg

Then in 1993, Sam Sr. decided to develop the first ever “hyper local” newscast. So on Jan. 4 1994, we began “Local News 13″ which aired on Service Electric Cablevision Channel 13 in the Greater Hazleton Area in Pennsylvania. After the first year, we began producing many other original local programs as well as producing local commercials.

One of the shows produced was called “On The Road with Sammy & Elaine.” It was a nationally syndicated show that took Sam Lesante and Elaine Palance (wife of Academy Award winner Jack Palance) around the country and interviewing celebrities and interesting people (dead and alive) Here’s a sample of the show in this memorial tribute to the late Jack Palance http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tDraKL_-JoU

Today, we still produce “News 13 on SSPTV” for the Greater Hazleton Area and Greater Mahanoy City on Service Elec. Cablevision (The first of it’s kind in the country) and we also produce many other programs that air in Hazleton and all over the country and world. We produce monthly shows for Comcast Ch. 7 in Pottsville, PA, two monthly medical shows for the Allentown and Philadelphia areas, an eye care show for the Wilkes-Barre and Stroudsburg areas and a veterinarian show that plays in Pakistan. Sam-Son Productions, Inc. also produces national quality commercials, infomercials, reality shows, documentaries, and more.
