Freeland Man Who Died In Fire Identified
Kenneth Walter Stankiewicz died from burn injures he suffered in a fire at 838-840 Ridge St., according to the Luzerne County Coroner’s office and borough police. Chief Deputy Coroner Daniel J. Hughes pronounced Stankiewicz dead at the scene at 9:45 a.m. Sunday. The death will be ruled accidental, according to Hughes.
